On a recent multiple-bridge replacement project involving significant earthworks at the base of one of New Zealand’s most significant Maori Cemeteries, KiwiRail achieved very positive outcomes for all parties by proactive engagement with the Waikato Tainui tribe. This partnership has led to multiple positive outcomes over-and-above what was very successful bridge replacement project.
